CAC ABUJA DCC HOLDS WORKERS SEMINAR



 Christ Apostolic Church, Abuja Districts Coordinating Council held a day seminar for workers in the the DCC. The seminar with theme; GOD WORKERS IN THE GOVERNMENT OF THE GREAT HOUSE (II Tim 2: 19 - 21) took place at the ADCC Hqts, Katampe, Abuja on the 20th February 2021.The seminar is aimed at equipping all workers in the DCC making them a better worker in the great house.

The DCC Superintendent, Pastor Olu Mustapha in the welcome address charged all participants to be fervent in the work of the gospel, he said everyone should the work of the Father now that we have the strength.

The guest speaker, Pastor Olowookere D F Testimony (from Lugbe Zone) while delivering the paper titled GOD WORKERS IN THE GOVERNMENT OF THE GREAT HOUSE explained that a church workers could be volunteered/appointed after a careful scrutiny of his/her moral and spiritual standard by the ministers to corporately and administratively work together to achieve common goal. He mentioned that church workers must be active, alive, dedicated and responsible for effective functioning growth and expansion of the church.

Pastor Olowookere also treated responsibilities of church leaders and explained the legacies and doctrines of the church "Christ Apostolic Church".

The event also witnessed the presentation of the newly ordained pastors in the ADCC to the church. They (newly ordained ministers and their wives) were admonished and prayed for.

REOPENING OF CHURCHES A BLESSING- Pastor Olu Mustapha The DCC Superintendent of Christ Apostolic Church, Abuja Districts Coordinating Council (ADCC), Pastor Olu Mustapha said the reopening churches is a blessing to believers. He mentioned this on Sunday (14th June 2020) during a chat with the ADCC ICT-Media crew after the service which is the second following the government decision to open worship centers. He advised Christians to obey all safety guidelines issued by the government as they observe the reopening of churches, he said obedience to constituted authority means obedience to God. Pastor Olu Mustapha said the lock down had changed the way we do things, he admonished believers to be ready to key into the changes so not to be left behind.

The 10th of October, 2020 witnessed a memorable event in Christ Apostolic Church, Abuja Districts Coordinating Council, it was a gathering of women regarded as wives of Jesus Christ (Widows). The program was initiated by the wife of the ADCC Superintendent, Mrs B F Mustapha with the support of all ministers in the DCC. The events of the program include; Medical check up, Counselling, interaction and many others. The message was delivered by Pastor Mrs. Bridget from Port Harcourt, Rivers State. Many widows gave their lives to Jesus Christ at the event. They were also presented with monitory support, clothes (new wrappers) and food items. See Photos;

OBEY CONSTITUTED AUTHORITY- Pastor Olu Mustapha

The Abuja DCC Superintendent, Pastor Olu Mustapha had once again reiterated that all churches in the ADCC should obey all the  guidelines issued by the government for the reopening of religious centres in the country. He stated this after the service on Sunday (14 th June 2020) in a chat with the ICT-Media crew, he advised everyone to adhere to all directives issued by medical professionals because doing this is a sign of obedience.
